The First Day (For reals this time)

The first day of the school term. Many different people have enrolled in Hanekoma High for many different reasons. Some look to control their powers, while others simply have nowhere else to go. Regardless, this school is a safe haven for those who are shunned by the rest of society. It is here that those with no one else will form everlasting bonds with others like themselves.

As the students filed in the school grounds, which were protected with high walls from the rest of society, a certain dirty-blond had walked through the gates, looking a bit insecure of himself. It was hard convincing his parents to let him drop out of his old school in order to enroll into this one without divulging his powers but he managed to get through. He looked around, some of them were already showcasing their powers as the others flew around the school grounds. Some were clustering in groups, clearly the upperclassmen. Liam just sighed as he looked around for a bit, clutching onto his bag.

A girl with light brown hair entered the gates shortly after Liam, she was much shorter then the rest of the students, including the freshmen. She looked at the school in front of her, Great, this will just be great. The girl thought to herself as she walked further into the campus.

A silver haired boy wearing a black jacket over a white T-Shirt sporting a black infinity sign bumped into the girl with brown hair. He stopped for a moment to look back at her, but then continued walking ahead without a word of apology.

'That wasn't nice..' Liam thought as he watched the silver haired boy walk out. '...Then again... I wonder if everybody here's the same...' he continued to think as he walked ahead, contemplating.

"Hey!" Ray shouted to the silver haired boy, it was obvious her temper was rising quite quickly, "Watch where you're going!" She now began to follow the boy, planning on getting the apology she deserved.

"...Hmm?" said the boy, turning around to see Ray shouting at him "Are you...talking to me?"

"Who else would I be talking to?" Ray asked glaring at the boy.

"Oh...I see." said the boy "Is there a problem?"

"Yeah!" She exclaimed, "You bumped into me!"

"Oh...Well, is there...something you'd like me to do about that?" he asked.

"Um...yeah!" She replied, with an eyeroll, "Apologizing maybe?"

"Apologizing?" asked the boy "What's an 'Apologizing'?"

"You can't be serious?" Ray asked him, "How do you not know what apologizing is?" She asked, "Or are you just playing dumb?" She questioned.

"Oh! That's that thing where you say you're sorry!" said the boy, either ignoring or not hearing Ray's questioning "In that case...'You're Sorry'." he said.

Ray stared at him like he was an idiot, "You're not from around here are you?" She asked him.

Meanwhile back at the front of the entrance, a taller boy, with black hair, that wasn't quite dark entered.
"I really hope I don't get lost...." He said to himself and noticed a girl and boy 'fighting' it seemed more one sided to him however, "Or get in any fights."

"I suppose not." he replied, before extending a hand to Ray "My name is...uh...Alexander! We're friends now, right?"

While the tall boy was distracted by Alex and Ray, an orange blur closed in on him from behind at inhuman speed
"Movemovemovemovemovemovemove!" it shouted.

"I guess so?" Ray said, now shaking Alexander's hand, "I'm Ray."

"Sorry!" The tall boy exclaimed, as he watched the orange blur move at a speed that was almost hard to comprehend.

"Ray...That's a good name." said Alex.

Despite the tall boy moving out of the way, the orange blur seemed to trip and face plant the ground.
"Ugh...Wipeout..." groaned the boy.

"Oh wow! Are you okay?" A girl said as she bent in front of the boy that was once an orange blur. "You had quite the trip there," she said, chuckling.

"Huh?" groaned the boy as he sat up "Well, it looks like I had quite the fall. I must have died from it. Otherwise, how could I see an angel like you?"

"Um...thanks." Ray replied, "Well...I should get going to orientation." She said.

Aran watched the boy spring to life as he began flirting with the girl, "Unbelievable." He commented.
